crazy week

What a week - last Sunday we went to a wrestling tournament in Carson City. We had to leave here at 5 am ( I HATE to get up early), so that we could be to Carson by 7 am to weigh in. The school was HUGE it even had an elevator. Claira was amazed all she has seen is little Lassen county schools. Dallen did really well in his matches. He won the first 2 and lost the 3rd. But honestly he should have won the 3rd too. Dallen had the kid in a choke hold and the kid tapped out but the ref said that Dallen was choking the kid not just having him in a choke hold ( which is perfectly legal). So the kid got a point for that. Then as Dallen got the kid on the ground Dallen did not receive points for getting the kid on the ground so he lost by one point. (the refs were kids and you were not allowed to question their judgment) So Dallen was really upset cause he knew what he did was right and he of course likes to win. After the tournament we were wiped out all that adrenalin all day is killer.

Thursday, I actually was given the day off work ( without me asking - something that has never happened in the 7 months I have been "filling in" at the susanville office) So I was very excited to get to sleep in and clean the house cause oh does it need it. Dallen complained that morning that his throat hurt so we gave him a lozenge and told him it would get better. Then the phone rang a couple of hours later it was the school they said dallen was tired and wanted to come home. ( Hello suck it up finish the day) so Eddie went and picked him up. He came home and fell asleep and woke up with a fever ( ok so he really is sick i guess) It is now Sunday evening and he still has a fever!! so I guess he is going to have to go to urgent care tomorrow to see why he still has a fever this long. We thought it was his molars coming in at first cause they are swollen but now we are not too sure.

Claira spent the night at her BFFs house on Friday. She called sat morn to see if she could stay another night..... so we said sure what the heck we are tired anyways you can stay. So today she calls and asks if she can stay again. Sure why not... It is a dang good thing we like this family LOL they are like a part of our family too so it works out well.

I got to work on Sat morning (yes i still work 6 days a week) and found out that one of the clerks has decided to take a temporary position in another office near las vegas. what this means is that she will work there to see if she likes it there and hopefully try and get the postmasters position there. (this is a really good thing for her) What this means for the susanville office is that since it is just a temporary position, they can not fill her position until she is actually hired there. SO.... with already being 1 to 2 employees short they will be down another starting this week. Which means that everyone will have to work even more hours to make up for that missing body. Not that we are all not over worked as it is LOL but now we will be one more person left. And people already have vacations scheduled in the next 2 months and so there will be another person missing for the one that is on vacation too. So the boss may end up canceling everyone's vacations for the time being too it is just CRAZY

so to recap - one kid mega sick - one kid living at her friends - and me about to start working even more hours woo hoo what a life!!

"you need to update your blog"

So Mom calls me and says "you need to update your blog" Yes I know but who has time to get everything done???? Not me!!!! But I did take the last HOUR (LOL) to update my music on my blog. That is something right?!? I do not have my Christmas pics uploaded to the puter yet (one thing at a time mom) But I do have some of our tree cutting day. So that is all ya get - oh and a couple of wrestling too

Wrestling:

Dallen is on the Janesville Wrestling Team - He really loves it. He actually listens to the coaches to the "T" I just wish he would listen to me half as much as he listens to them. He is really good it gives him a way to focus his energy (and anger). He has only gone to one tournament yet, (they have them almost every weekend but they are AT LEAST an hour away and up to 4... and 90%of the time on Sunday.) But he did get 2nd place in his weight class for that tournament.

Nothing else really going on in our lives, besides wrestling. We have practice 3 days a week and then a tournament (if we go) so we are always there (or at least it feels that way) Claira does not seem to mind though cause her BFF goes to wrestling practice too. So they just hang out for 2 hours a night 3 days a week. Weeknights are usually spent with Eddie and chance playing xbox together, or watching movies to pass the time. Some days it is like I have 2 husbands or should I say like I have 2 big boys (Eddie and chance) and 2 young boys (dallen and chance jr). So I hide out in my scrap room trying to scrap a little, but usually I just end up surfing the net looking for freebies and reading random blogs.
